THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA
This metalcore band from Ohio has released six full-length albums to date. They’ve toured Europe extensively with the likes of August Burns Red and Bring Me the Horizon and are regarded as one of the most progressive bands in the genre. The members pride themselves on being part of a Christian band and in interviews have named their faith as the band’s main focal point. In 2013 Revolver Magazine nominated them for best live band. Their latest album ‘Transit Blues’ (2016) sees them venturing into previously unexplored territory, the ever-present breakdowns being dropped in favour of a more post-hardcore oriented feel and with Mike Hranica showcasing a more diverse vocal range. The Devil Wears Prada continues to push metalcore boundaries, thereby consolidating their status as one of the genre’s driving forces.
