Union Events is pleased to announce an Edmonton show with alternative folk/indie pop band PHOX w/ GUESTS on May 30, 2015 at Pawn Shop.
PHOX is from Baraboo, WI, which is a place where kids often drink poisoned groundwater and become endowed mutants. The seven best friends who make up the ensemble happen to be blessed with madness, illusions of grandeur, and the inability to do the same thing twice. They also play music.
The American six-piece band has had a growing amount of success since its 2013 debut EP Confetti. After opening for The Lumineers at the iTunes Festival in London, a spot at SXSW, opening up for Blitzen Trapper’s national tour, and a spot at Lollapalooza 2013, the band has grown a steady fan base.
The band’s latest self-titled album has received good press all around the globe. They are set to perform at Coachella, Bonnarroo and Sasquatch music festivals later this year.
