with The Devil's Sons and Sparrow Blue
From the Promoter
American rock band, formed in November 1988 as The Black Supersuckers in Tucson, Arizona.
“You’ve heard our name, you’ve seen our records, our t-shirts and our stickers. We’re probably the favorite band of someone you know and yet maybe we’re still a mystery to you. Well my friend, that’s okay, you’re at the right place to get to know the greatest rock-n-roll band in the world, The Supersuckers.
And the next time you see the ‘Supersuckers’ name, whether it’s in the record store, online somewhere, or on the marquee at your local rock club, know that there’s some quality, honest, ass-kicking, hard working individuals behind it all trying to make your life a little better through the “Evil Powers Of Rock-n-Roll” (and the occasional detour into the country music, of course) and we’d love nothing better than to have you there with us as! Just remember to wear clean underwear, ‘cuz we’re gonna rock the pants right off of you!”
THE DEVIL'S SONS
In the city of E-ville, Deadmonton Hellberta, under a fiery glow of a blood moon in October 2014, with autumn rust igniting the landscape like a massive funeral pyre, The Devil’s Sons were spawned. Playing psychotic Rock n’ Roll with elements of punk, metal and of course psychobilly, they create demonic sounds resonating from the belly of the beast himself.
Fronted by Brad Graves on vox and a big, bad, growling Gretsch, and backed by an explosive rhythm section featuring Fernando De Los Santos hammering out blood boiling basslines on a big ole bull fiddle, and drummer Johnny Crash carving up the skins with mean, hard, fast beats. Together the band blasts out their songs with a hellishly melodic ferocity, forcing anyone in attendance as if possessed, to get out of their seats and start moving and shaking to the spellbinding rhythms piercing through their souls.
The band began playing shows in the spring of 2015, and soon found themselves sharing the stage with bands like The Brains, Raygun Cowboys, and celtic punk legends The Mahones. Now with winter upon us, The Devil’s Sons are finalizing their full length debut album and getting ready to set the stage ablaze once again to spread the good word of the Dark Lord!
Be forewarned! This ain’t no Hocus Pocus, Mumbo Jumbo. This is The Devil’s Music, This is Rock n’ Roll!
THE DEVIL’S SONS
Sparrow Blue was born on the outskirts of Edmonton Alberta by members Des Parks (Vocals), Jon Dombroski (Guitar), Liam Holm (Drums), Bernie Baksa (Guitar), Russell McCann (Percussion) and Jeff Olson (Bass) in 2015. Fueled by their old school roots of rock and roll, they stay true to a classic tone and wall of sound. Influenced by bands such as Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ Top, Led Zeppelin, Mountain etc. they are quick to bring lightning to a stage with their "Badlands Blues" rock and roll. The band has been headlining/selling out every show they've played in Edmonton/Calgary and have recently released a self titled double single album feat. the songs "Touchdown Turbulence" and "Side Cash".
