Combining psychedelic, classic and progressive rock with arena-worthy metal, bluesy stoner-rock and catchy riffs in odd signatures, Ape Machine's music carries an organic depth and warmth rarely heard since the time of rock's glorious early years (or your Dad's bad ass record collection) infused with an exceptional modern sensibility.

HIGH PRIESTESS
HIGH PRIESTESS is a heavy psych doom trio from Los Angeles throwing down lush harmonies and psychedelic crushing riffs and grooves. Consisting of Katie Gilchrest on guitar and vocals, Mariana Fiel on bass and vocals, and Megan Mullins on drums, they have created a sound that echoes both past and future incarnations of doom and psychedelia.
High Priestess was formed in the spring of 2016 when Mariana Fiel placed an ad on Craigslist seeking like minds for a devastating project. Luckily Katie and Megan heeded the call, and they immediately started producing long, hypnotic jams that morphed into crafted songs with dynamic crescendos and soaring improv sections.
The band self-released a five-song demo in July 2017 that through sheer word-of-mouth gained high critical praise and a growing fanbase. Recently signing with Ripple Music, the demo will enjoy a full release as the bands self-titled first album in Spring of 2018. Tours, both domestic and abroad, will abound to spread the gospel of thick fuzz and rhapsodic melody. Basically, wherever this band can go, they will go. Prepare to worship at their altar.
