Following the launch of his latest album The Indestructible Spirit, Nelly Furtado has announced the dates of its Canadian tour which will take place in January 2013. Dylan Murray and Jessica Tyler will be special guests Nelly Furtado for all tour dates.

When I started this musical journey, I did not know where it would lead me because I had just finished a tour for my album in Spanish and I was hesitant about the idea of singing in English again.

I seriously thought about retiring as a musician and pop me towards other musical avenues.

Slowly but surely, I started recording, I found freedom in my voice and I was happy to make pop music.

It is the passion you hear in The Indestructible Spirit. Nostalgia is an important issue. All my old memories suddenly became very clear and I revisited my past in a whole new way on songs such as "Parking Lot", produced by Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins, where I talk about the good old days in my city native. This is just my own version of "Summer Of 69." On "Big Hoops", the composer rhymes 14 years I found his release as "jams" of hip hop and R and B on the outskirts of Victoria. Ironically, Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins, the producer of this song and seven other songs on the album, also produced several of my favorite songs of the 90s. I realized while watching the plates in his studio . Rodney When I work with, I feel like a kid in a playground, uninhibited and happy. We have lots of fun together.
