Global recording artist and world’s bestselling soprano, Sarah Brightman, recently released her new track “Angel”. The recording is now available for free download via Brightman’s newly launched website sarahbrightman.com. The track is taken from her highly anticipated new album “Dreamchaser,” which will be released on January 22, 2013.

“Angel,” a collaboration with veteran producer Mike Hedges known for his iconic work with the likes of U2, The Cure, Dido, has been co–produced by Sally Herbert and mixed by Tom Elmhirst (Adele, Amy Winehouse).

“Angel” will be released digitally by various online retailers including iTunes and Amazon on October 16, 2012.

“I am incredibly excited to be sharing this new music and to be able to give a taste of what is to come on the album in January.” said Brightman “Angel is a track that is very dear to me, as it lends voice to some of the hopes I have for the next stage of my career whilst casting an eye right back to my childhood. There are some incredible plans afoot and the scale of this song matches the scope of my ambitions for the next 2 or 3 years.”

In January of 2013, Brightman will begin her “Dreamchaser” World Tour which will touch upon 5 continents and include over 100 concert dates. The first leg of the tour will kick off in North America on January 29, 2013 in Hamilton, ON and visit cities across the U.S. and Canada (listed below), with more international dates to be announced shortly. Fan community pre-sale tickets for the North American dates will be available October 9th-11th with public ticket on-sales beginning October 15th. Unique VIP concert packages will also be available, offering concert-goers an engaging and intimate ‘Dreamchaser’ experience.

On October 10th, Brightman will also be making a groundbreaking LIVE announcement from Moscow at 4:00 pm MSK/8:00 am EDT/5:00 am PDT via her YouTube channel, youtube.com/sarahbrightman. More information to be announced soon.

Over the past two and a half decades, Sarah Brightman has distinguished herself as the world’s biggest selling soprano of all time with global sales reaching over 30 million units. She has received more than 180 gold and platinum awards in over 40 countries. Brightman pioneered the classical crossover music movement and is the only artist to have simultaneously topped the Billboard dance and classical music charts.

She was also the first artist to have been invited to perform the official theme songs at the Olympic Games on two occasions. The first was at the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games which was followed 16 years later by a performance at the opening ceremony in Beijing.

Brightman recently accepted the UNESCO nomination to be an “Artist for Peace” Ambassador for her “commitment to humanitarian and charitable causes.” She has appeared in several films, including Repo! The Genetic Opera (2008), directed by Darren Lynn Bousman, and Stephen Evans' First Night (2011).

L’artiste et soprano Sarah Birghtman a récemment lancé sa nouvelle chanson « Angel ». L’enregistrement est maintenant disponible gratuitement sur le nouveau site de Brightman saragbrightman.com. La chanson est un extrait de son tout nouvel album Dreamchaser qui sera lancé le 22 janvier 2013.

« Angel » est une collaboration avec le producteur vétéran Mike Hedges qui est bien connu pour pour son travail avec U2, The Cure et Dido. L’extrait a été co-produit par Sally Herbert et réalisé par Tom Elmhirst (Adele, Amy Winehouse).

« Angel » sera lancé en version numérique le 16 octobre prochain notamment sur iTunes et Amazon.

« Je suis extrêmement heureuse de partager cette nouvelle chanson et de donner un avant-goût de mon nouvel album. » a dit Brightman. « Angel est une chanson qui m’est très chère puisqu’elle représente les espoirs que j’ai pour la suite de ma carrière et jette à la fois un regard sur mon enfance. Il y des beaux projets à venir et cette chanson correspond à mes ambitions pour les 2 ou 3 prochaines années. »

En janvier 2013, Brightman débutera sa tournée Dreamchaser qui s’arrêtera dans 5 continents et inclut près de 100 dates de concerts. Le premier segment de la tournée débutera à Hamilton, ON le 29 janvier 2013 et passera par plusieurs villes à travers le Canada et les États-Unis et plusieurs autres villes à travers le monde qui seront annoncées sous peu.
