The inaugural release of Fantôme Records will be the third album by Montreal duo Le Matos, a double album including “Chronicles of the Wasteland”–the original Turbo Kid soundtrack.

“Chronicles of the Wasteland” is a rearranged version of the original soundtrack of Turbo Kid, a post-apocalyptic film by the RKSS trio of directors. The film premiered last January at the Sundance Film Festival and went on to be shown at SXSW, Fantasia, and the Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival, where it received the award for best original soundtrack.
