Manahel est une auteur-compositrice-interprète-pianiste de musique Jazzpop. Accompagnée de son groupe elle interprètera ses chansons anglophones et des reprises jazz/soul de Donny Hathaway, Dinah Washington,...Sa progression sur la scène montréalaise jazzpop a été remarqué, elle s'est produit sur la scène du fameux Upstairs Jazz Bar en mars dernier ce qui lui a permis de performer dans les bars/jazzclubs les plus connus de Montreal.
Manahel is a singer-songwriter-pianist of Jazzpop music. With her band, she will be performing her original songs and some jazz/soul covers. (Donny Hathaway, Dinah Washington,...). She has been seen in the most famous bars/jazzclubs in Montreal like the Upstairs Jazz bar in which one she performed last March.
Wish, a project based on Jérémie Martineau’s compositions and arrangements, is a sleepy alternative world of its own. Inspired by groups like Radiohead, Half Moon Run, Sigur Ros and Patrick Watson, Jérémie (singer-guitarist-pianist), Samuel Baribeau (guitarist-effects), Julien Marchand-Desranleau (drums) and Raphael Longval (bass-synths) recently released their new album: Nice Dreams.
For this show, Wish will perform various songs from their newest album and older songs as well, but this time, they will re-arrange them to be a little more rock and driven instead of sleepy and soothing.
