From the Promoter

isa LeBlanc's first album was written in the heart of Rosaireville (her hometown village of 40 people in New Brunswick), in Granby during her studies at l'École nationale de la chanson and in Montreal, where she now lives. She has sold over 80 000 copies of the album (produced by Louis-Jean Cormier of Karkwa fame at Studio Piccolo) since its 2012 Canadian release via Bonsound. In 2013, Tôt ou Tard released the album in France. Lisa LeBlanc's irresistible charm is the result of her unique musical style that she describes as folk-trash. Her words and music combined make for a light-hearted and touching effect.

The Acadian, who composed her first songs five years ago, comes from a family of music lovers. Outstanding guitarist and a promising singer-songwriter, Lisa LeBlanc was the winner of the prestigious Festival international de la chanson de Granby's 2010 edition. This award gave her great visibility within the French speaking media. She has since performed at several international events such as FrancoFolies de Montréal, Festival d'été de Québec, FMEAT, SXSW, Francofolies de la Rochelle, Francofolies de Spa and the Fête Nationale on the Plaines d'Abraham in Quebec City. A true show-woman, Lisa LeBlanc has already played over 400 shows across Canada and Europe. With her always is her energy, her love for life, her charisma, her sincerity and, of course, her beautiful voice and her music. Her goal is pretty simple: to sing and perform as often as possible! possible!
