Chris Staig is pleased to announce that his first Ottawa performance in years is scheduled for Thursday July 9th at Raw Sugar Café. The show is part of a series of Ontario wide dates to promote his new LP/CD “Shack By The Tracks”. This recording is the best representation of both Staig’s blues tinged folk rock writing and has received strong radio support in the Ottawa area, particularly on CKCU Radio. A list highlighting some of “Shack By The Tracks” radio broadcasts is included at the bottom of this press release. Accompanying Staig on this show is Shelley Coopersmith, whose violin, mandolin and harmony singing contributions are key elements on the “Shack By The Tracks” album, and also in Staig’s live show. Also on the bill is Ottawa’s own Archy the Cockroach.
