Melvins Lite is the latest incarnation of legendary alt-rock band Melvins with King Buzzo, Dale Crover, and Trevor Dunn.

Last year, Melvins members Buzz Osborne and Dale Crover hit the road with Trevor Dunn (Secret Chiefs 3, Mr. Bungle), performing the more lighter material from the Melvins’ back catalogue.

Now, the trio aptly called Melvins Lite has recorded an LP, the incredibly titled Freak Puke, which will see release on June 5th via Ipecac. The group has plans for more touring throughout 2012 in support of the release with dates across the US and Canada.
