Primus is excited to announce a spring tour with a stop in Toronto on June 7 & 8 at The Danforth Music Hall, featuring a 3D-enhanced live musical performance and two sets per evening. This groundbreaking tourwill provide a one-of-a-kind psychedelic experience, further enhanced bythe fact that every show will also feature Quad Surround Sound. Primus teamed with 3D Live from Burbank, CA to create original 3D content forthe tour. Audience members will be given 3D glasses in order to fullyexperience a visual and audio performance like no other. Additionally, LesClaypool's Duo De Twang will be playing shows on both the East andWest Coasts this spring, and tour dates are at LesClaypool.com.
Recently, Primus released the video for "Lee VanCleef," premiered via TeamCoco.com. Primus also debuted the video forthe single "Tragedy's a' Comin'", which premiered on IFC.com in a threepartseries (part 1, part 2, part 3).
Primus' latest album, Green Naugahyde, was produced and engineered byLes Claypool in his personal studio, Rancho Relaxo, in NorthernCalifornia, and features Claypool, long-time guitarist Larry LaLonde anddrummer Jay Lane. Lane was in an early lineup of the band, and was alsoin Sausage, a 1994 reunion of the 1988 Primus lineup. Green Naugahyde is aPrimus record with all of the magic and mystery that phrase entails-andwhile no one can say for sure what the future will hold in store for theband, the most important thing is that the album exists and will inevitablyhold its own in the band's impressive cannon of music.
