Marianas Trench are at a soaring artistic peak, and after winning Group of the Year at the 2013 JUNO Awards, Ramsay and bandmates Ian Casselman, Mike Ayley, and Matt Webb are on the road again, bringing them to Toronto's Molson Canadian Amphitheatre on July 12 with special guests Lights and DiRTY RADiO.

What Marianas Trench has done with their latest album, Ever After, is create the story and soundtrack to a dark Tim Burton rock opera that hasn’t been made yet. Since the album’s release in November 2011, Marianas Trench have gone to release 4 PLATINUM selling singles, “Haven’t Had Enough,” “Fallout,” “Desperate Measures,” and “Stutter.” The album itself is certified PLATINUM, and with the much anticipated fifth and final single to be released this summer, the sky is the limit for these Canadian pop-rockers. After two highly successful headlining Canadian arena tours in 2012 and 2013, Marianas Trench have been signed to Cherrytree Records in the US and will embark on their first headlining US tour throughout May and June of this year.

Lights made headlines with her self-titled EP (2008) and garnered a string of impressive accolades for a debut artist that include: 2009 Juno Award for New Artist of the Year, double winner at both the 2009 Canadian Radio Music Awards (Best Artist AC and Best Artist HotAC) and 2009 Indie Music Awards (Solo Artist of the Year and Single of the Year). Since then, she has numerous sold out national tours under her belt, recorded two Gold studio albums in Canada, performed at festivals and has appeared with top international artists, live and on record, such as Owl City, Kaskade, Holy Fuck and Keane.

DiRTY RADiO work as hard as any act out there, and that’s because they’re more than just a band; they’re remixers, producers, contributors, collaborators, and businessmen. Traditionally, artists are only able to lock down one corner of the unforgiving juggernaut that is the “music industry” (a now intimidating and cringe-worthy term) but when your crew is made up of three separate talents, all with their own specialty, the result is a crack team of champions with a combined force that would make an action movie cast jealous. Without looking back, they have the advantage that only previously successful acts have, and that’s to take risks. With an appetite to innovate, DiRTY RADiO plan to change the entire landscape of music in this country and even beyond the borders.
