Following her incredible warm-up single ‘Work’, which amassed over 30 million views on YouTube, hit the top 15 in the iTunes chart, the top 20 in the UK charts and climbed to the A-list at BBC Radio 1, Iggy Azalea is the hottest new female rap star in the game.

Iggy Azalea’s original cult classic mixtape ‘Ignorant Art’, catapulted her into the limelight in 2011, shortly followed by the 6 track “Glory EP” which featured a track with Mike Posner, BOB and Pusha T. Steve Aoki’s incredible hit “Beat Down” that Iggy featured on made way for her third mixtape ‘Trap Gold’ which dropped at the tail end of 2012. The Trap Gold mixtape highlights Iggy’s unmistakable double-time flows, trap beats and pristine production courtesy of Diplo and FKi.

Having spent 2012 turning heads and garnering the respect of industry and hip hop heavy-weights Iggy signed a deal with Virgin EMI in the UK and the prestigious Island Def Jam in the US.

‘Bounce’, Iggy’s second single under EMI was unrelenting in energy. It stomped into the arena with a thumping beat and pristine hooks, laced with Iggy’s signature crisp flow and infiltrated the hottest dancefloors across the globe.

Iggy hit the road with legendary rap star Nas in the UK, Europe and Australia earlier in 2013 and has a run of sold-out headline shows under her belt.

Iggy wasted no time in releasing ‘Change Your Life’ which proved to be her biggest song yet. Produced by The Messengers (Christina Aguilera, Chris Brown, Pitbull), it showcased the full range of her talent – blistering verses and a gigantic hook set to dominate the airwaves over the coming months. On top of that, none other than man of the moment T.I. featured to deliver the second verse in his own irresistible style.

Iggy supported Beyoncé on eleven of the fourteen scheduled “Mrs Carter Show World Tour” arena dates across Australia in late 2013, followed by her biggest performance to date on US prime time TV, ’The Late Show, with David Letterman. Iggy was invited to perform at this year’s Grammy Awards Friends ‘N’ Family party, where she was again joined on stage by fellow rapper T.I. to perform their UK hit single, ‘Change Your Life’ together.

Sunday 6th April 2014 brings the release of Iggy Azalea’s new single, ‘Fancy’ feat. Charli XCX. ‘Fancy’ adds a new sound to Iggy’s repertoire, with stripped back production driven by an infectious retro-induced synth leaving the floor open once again for Iggy’s impeccable double time flow and Charlie XCX’s contagious chorus.

This summer will see Iggy return to the festival circuit as she joins the likes of Kanye West, Pharrell Williams and Basement Jaxx at London’s Wireless Festival.

Iggy’s album ‘The New Classic’ is due to be released in April 2014 through Virgin EMI/Island Def Jam.
