Since the release of their hugely successful debut Beautiful Freak, California’s EELS, led by Mark Oliver Everett (aka E), has remained one of alternative rock’s most interesting and creatively vibrant acts. Massey Hall presents EELS when they perform at Toronto’s enchanting Winter Garden Theatre on Tuesday, May 27, in support of their 11th studio album, cheekily titled The Cautionary Tales of Mark Oliver Everett, which releases in Canada on April 22, 2014.
