INK Entertainment is pleased to present Ms. Lauryn Hill at the Sound Academy on Saturday, June 21 as the eight-time Grammy Award-winning artist makes her highly anticipated return to Toronto for the first time in two years.

Best known for being the lone female member of the iconic, genre-blending 90s group The Fugees and her critically acclaimed, self-written and self-produced solo album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, Ms. Hill has established a reputation in the music world as an interesting and powerful hybrid of musical influences and stylistic mastery. In the run-up to the 1999 Grammy Awards, she became the first woman to be nominated in ten categories in a single year. Incorporating all types of unique and incredible sounds to dramatically shape her own approach to self-expression, her prolific rhymes, extraordinary talents, and penchant for creativity have catapulted Ms. Lauryn Hill into the public eye as the long-reigning queen of hip-hop and R&B.

Showcasing an eclectic appreciation and voracious appetite for good music that extends from jazz, to soul, to reggae, to rock, to classical, Ms. Lauryn Hill will bring her unique and incredible sounds to a crowd of Toronto fans as she takes to the stage of the Sound Academy this June.
