U.S. GIRLS (usgirls.bandcamp.com)
Meg Remy's ever mutating avant soul psych project pulls out the full band for this engagement. Ominously nostalgic electronic noise textures meandering before they melt into deep organ tones. Drum machines beats dance underneath Meg's soaring vocals. Like the ultimate lost soul demo tape mashed up with krautrock textures, filtered through the grime lens of Detroit. Powerful yet intimate.

NATURE
Rare performance by Toronto super group featuring Man Made Hill, Sexy Merlin, Jesse Locke (Ketamines) and Brandon Hocura, put out the deep grooves, electro funk jamming. Pretty much the ultimate party band, like some synth dungeon love child of Herbie Hancock & Liquid Liquid with a smattering of ESG-esque breaks. Synth notes get stretched out over a rhythmic prison. Voices call out in the haze of ripping percussive interplay. Come enjoy this lucid freak booty session.

CASTLE IF (castleif.bandcamp.com)
Toronto kraut synth manipulator Castle If extracts eerie tones from repetitive electronics. Her haunting soundscapes belong in some heavenly cold storage locker. Vocals almost hidden, slither amongst synth hums. The cold gurgling of the future, mixed with some entrancing nostalgia that won't let you go.

FARRAGOES (farragoes.bandcamp.com)
Tom Avis of Gay's solo Lincoln myth based electronic music project. Bouncy synth tones & drum pad percussion meld together like the soundtrack to some Nintendo 64 game meets euro beach jammers. Hints of italo disco sprinkle in the undergrowth as Tom's voice croons on top of this spectral delight.
