Michael Bernard Fitzgerald (MBF) is a twenty-seven year old singer and songwriter from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. A touring troubadour, most of his time is spent on stage playing clubs, theatres and festivals across North America.

His most recent studio release, "YES" (Trauma2 - August 2013), is an eclectic, pop-driven, soul-fueled record produced by Jon Levine (Serena Ryder) and Brian West (K'naan, Nelly Furtado). Inspired by Motown, Paul Simon, Springsteen and A Tribe Called Quest, "YES" is a lyric driven, moog heavy, body of work featuring the songs "Man Overboard", "Firecracker" and "In Your Room Tonight". Three years in the making, and countless contributions from talented musicians (Esthero, Russell Broom), "YES" is a record that will stand for years to come.

MBF has shared the stage and toured with Joel Plaskett, Michael Franti and Spearhead, Steve Winwood, Third Eye Blind, Sam Roberts, Stars, K-OS, The Wallflowers, Elliott Brood, Lights and many more. He's also played Firefly Festival, Mountain Jam, Calgary Folk Music Festival, X Fest, Virgin Fest, Regina Folk Festival The Calgary Stampede and Capital Ex.
