His debut album, ‘The Lateness of the Hour’, received widespread critical acclaim, reached number 1 on ITunes and was certified gold in the US. Hit single ‘Too Close’, should also sound familiar, having been featured on Microsoft’s Explorer 9 commercial, triggering well over 100,00 downloads by April 1st, platinum sales in the US, and reaching number 7 in the Billboard 100.

This year saw Alex release his second album ‘Three Hearts’ which he describes as ‘An album of thanksgiving and gratitude’.

He says ‘The new music definitely represents the big changes in my life. For me, it was always a catharsis. I feel, as someone who was never particularly good at articulating myself in conversation, the blessing of song is to be able to express a strong and deep idea with as few word as possible. If you’re an honest songwriter and live an honest life, and you write songs about that, I think most people can relate to it.’

Following on from the overwhelming success of his last sell out North American tour, Alex returns in November for 27 nights, visiting cities including New Orleans, Toronto and Los Angeles where the albums were recorded.
