Embrace proudly presents STARS with very special guests HEY ROSETTA! on Thursday February 12 and Friday February 13 at The Danforth Music Hall, touring in support of their highly anticipated new album, “No One Is Lost” (Universal), set for release in October.

For “No One Is Lost,” STARS built a functional studio space from scratch, and began recording with long-time friend, and producer, Liam O’Neil (Metric, The Stills). Title-track, “No One Is Lost,” co-produced and mixed by JUNO award-winning producer Jimmy Shaw, features signature soaring Millan vocals holding down the chorus and builds to a euphoric house banger that distills all the hope, fear, joy, sadness, and sex in the band’s songbook into a pair of unshakeable mantras: “put your hands up because everybody dies / put your hands up if you know you’re going to lose.” Stars’ ethos can be summarized as such: “this life is very heartbreaking and sad … so let’s get completely…arseholed and listen to some Dionne Warwick.”

Over the near decade playing together, HEY ROSETTA!’s collective sound has been lauded as unmistakable - Tim Baker’s haunting and distinctive voice and his writing, with a lyrical sensibility that defines the band as one of the most poetic Canada exports; the rolling indie-rock precision meeting hooky pop sensibilities, offset by the delicate touch of cello, violin, and now French horn, that cuts through the most cramped club or across any vast open air festival stage.

Don’t miss Canadian favourites STARS and HEY ROSETTA! when they join forces for what are sure to be back-to-back memorable nights at The Danforth Music Hall on February 12th and 13th.
