John & Waleed: From the Sudan to Southern Ontario, a journey told through music

John & Waleed is a documentary-style concert that follows the stories of two musicians, one from Southern Ontario and one from the Sudan. Through children’s tunes, folk songs, and their own compositions, this unlikely duo explore their musical traditions and migrations, carried with them on their journey towards becoming artists, Torontonians, and ultimately – friends.
