Following a sold out performance at the Danforth Music Hall, Damien Rice has confirmed that he will be back in Toronto on April 11 at Massey Hall. A limited number of advance tickets will be available to mailing list subscribers via damienrice.com. The 48-hour pre-sale window will begin Wed. Nov. 19 at 9am, and general on-sale will begin Friday, November 21 at 10am.

Rice’s latest album, My Favourite Faded Fantasy, is his first collection of material in eight years and was produced by Rick Rubin and Rice. Rice recently teased the record with a video clip featuring an acoustic version of the intro to the album’s title track (watch here), which Stereogum praised as “the prettiest and most properly epic-sounding piece of music he’s ever released.” Listen to the full song here.

My Favourite Faded Fantasy follows the seminal O, which sold two million copies worldwide, won the prestigious Shortlist Prize, spent 10 weeks on the Billboard 200, spent 80 weeks on the U.K. chart—as well as the million-selling, Brit-nominated follow-up, 9.
