The Maine is an American rock band from Arizona formed in early 2007. Their first full-length Can’t Stop Won’t Stop released via Fearless Records in 2008 to incredible fan reception.

With the momentum of their first release, The Maine signed to a major label and dropped Black & White in the summer of 2010. Through this release, the fans and industry started to see their capability to expand as creative artists and musicians.

When it came time for their third album, they knew that the record needed to be without the input of anyone but the band members themselves. After making the decision to part ways with their major label, The Maine released Pioneer independently in 2011.

In 2013, The Maine released their fourth full-length album, Forever Halloween. The album was recorded live through analog tape without the use of computer editing techniques.

Following the success of Forever Halloween, The Maine closed out 2013 with another independent release – the self-recorded and produced acoustic EP Imaginary Numbers, featuring all new material.

Over the years, the band has headlined and supported major tours worldwide taking them not only across the US and Canada but to Europe, South America, Australia, the Philippines, and beyond. The band has shared the stage with the likes of Taking Back Sunday, Good Charlotte, All Time Low, Arkells and more.

For The Maine, 2015 brings with it the release of a brand new album, their fifth studio record titled American Candy as well as extensive touring plans worldwide.
