Neil Young (Fat Worm of Error) brings his solo electro-acoustic mutant beat jams to Toronto. Bouncing catterpillar like beats built out of twisted field recordings, tweak & glitch. Mashed up electronics merge buzzing noise, crackling connections, and gurgling rhythms into grooving anti anthems. Vocals howl out as if trapped in Macaulay Culkin's Talk Boy, dancing with subtle bursts of distortion. This is what the inside of your computer sounded like in 1990.

FLESHTONE AURA (fleshtoneaura.bandcamp.com)
The solo workhorse of Andrew Zukerman melds home made electronics with mashed up tape loops. Zukerman's work draws of a plethora of sources, references & sounds while still maintaing continuity. His sense of humour & nostalgia play out as an inexplicable buoyancy in his compositions, often getting derailed into to some minimalist holding pattern before breaking free like some child finally out of his parents grasp. Meditative, chaotic, compelling music. For fans of Fine Young Cannibals.
