Massey Hall is thrilled to announce a new Live at Massey Hall (LAMH) concert, featuring Jenn Grant & The Wooden Sky on Friday, June 23 and also reveals ten new films taken from LAMH season three, featuring Tanya Tagaq, Bahamas and Peaches at liveatmasseyhall.com.

Jenn Grant, ECMA winner, Polaris Prize and three-time JUNO Award nominee brings her new album Paradise to Massey Hall as part of the Live at Massey Hall live concert and concert film series. Joining Jenn Grant on the bill will be acclaimed JUNO Award nominated Toronto band, The Wooden Sky, whose new album, Swimming in Strange Waters, will be released this Friday, April 7.

Jenn Grant's originally scheduled Toronto show on March 24th at The Great Hall was unfortunately postponed due to an issue at the venue which presented a possible safety risk for patrons. All ticket holders for the original March 24th concert have been e-mailed and assigned preferred seating for the Massey Hall concert, ahead of the public on sale this Friday April 7th 10am. For any questions regarding this, please contact Massey Hall box office directly @ 416-872-4255 or contactus@mh-rth.com.

"The band and I were truly heartbroken to not be able to play in Toronto a few weeks ago,” commented Jenn Grant. “I was hoping something beautiful might be born from this mishap and well, I'm beside myself with excitement, I hope it will make up for the lack of concert and disappointment we all suffered with the last minute cancellation that night" Jenn continues, "It's been a dream of mine since I can remember to play Massey Hall, and I can't quite believe I get to. I can't wait to get back to Toronto and share this new album, old songs, and have all our hearts together in one big room for one extra magical evening on June 23rd. "

Massey Hall today also reveals Season 3 of Live at Massey Hall, the Toronto music Hall’s signature concert and concert film series. Ten new 30-minute, cinematic concert films from Bahamas, Owen Pallett, Peaches, Rheostatics, Tanya Tagaq, Chilly Gonzales, The Weather Station, Alejandra Ribera, Amelia Curran, and The Hidden Cameras are now all streaming for free at liveatmasseyhall.com.

Each night there is electricity in the air. Each night, it is more than obvious this isn’t just another stop on the artist’s tour itinerary: this is a career-defining moment, one in which audiences feel just as invested as the performers. This series is devoted to Canadian artists. Each concert is filmed and recorded, showcasing amazing performances and the audience experience at the historic Massey Hall. It’s almost as good as being there—almost.

Tickets for the Live at Massey Hall series start at the symbolic price of $18.94, a nod to the year the venue opened— This Saturday, April 8, Massey Hall presents Joel Plaskett and Bill Plaskett with special guests Elliott Brood. The Plaskett’s, backed by east coasters the Mayhemmingways, will be performing songs from throughout Joel’s acclaimed catalogue and from his collaborative album, Solidarity, with his father.
