PARTNER

"Partner is genre-defying and terrifying: part musical act, part teenage diary, and 100% queer.

Partner is the "mature" effort of two best friends named Josée Caron and Lucy Niles. Borne of their bizarre and fortuitous friendship, Partner confidently harnesses the infinite power of Rock to explore a variety of niche yet strangely universal themes. Self described as post-classic-rock.

GIRLONGIRL

Heenan has been part of the music scene dating back almost 10 years when she was first discovered by Al Joynes (Q107 – Toronto’s Rock FM station) in a talent contest and performed at local open mics in Whitby, Ontario with The Stellas.

2016 was a big year for the band, playing at CMW, winning Toronto’s Best Indie Band at the prestigious Toronto Independent Music Awards – as selected by jury members; (Alan Cross, Nicole Fiorentino/The Smashing Pumpkins, Tyler Tasson/A&R at ole --- among others). In the summer, the band released a 3 track EP.

JUSTYN JOLIE

Independent Androgynous Artist Justyn Jolie is a singer/songwriter from Toronto who’s self-produced music is an experimental blend of alternative-pop and electro-jazz.

TOKYO TABOO

Tokyo Taboo comprise of singer Dolly Daggerz and guitarist Mike, who are joined by a band for their live shows. Dolly takes inspiration from iconic performers from Heart to David Bowie and Karen O and Mike simply loves a good riff. Tokyo Taboo is a perfect amalgamation of Dolly and Mike’s influences; inspired by Manga, Japanese culture, drag and 80s fashion, they are true performers, with an image that equals the intense vibrancy of what you hear on record.
