From the Promoter

DICK RODAN

Dick Rodan is a six-piece country outfit hailing from southern Ontario, Canada. Though they may be big-city boys, they sure know how to trick you into thinking they practice in a field somewhere in the American Midwest. If you like your country to be more like Hank Williams than Florida Georgia Line, then you will have some fun enjoying all that is Dick Rodan.

MATT YORK

The Boston Herald says of Matt York’s new album Boston, Texas that ”the singer-songwriter uses basic building blocks — Holly’s chords, Hank Williams’ swagger, Steve Earle’s boozy wisdom, Paul Westerberg’s straight-up-drunk wisdom — to construct an album of beauty, optimism and heartbreak”. Matt's new album explores a cross-section of everything from straight-up rock n roll to hints of outlaw country. His music has been featured on radio stations throughout the world.

RICH CLOKE

Rich Cloke is a country singer/songwriter based out of Burlington, ON. Rich's music has been shared around the globe thanks to over 40,000 fans on social media. In addition to performing showcases at the CCMA's in London, ON in 2016, Rich performed over 100  gigs including Ontario festivals such as Canal Days in Port Colborne & the Burlington Sound of Music Festival, sharing the stage with River Town Saints, Small Town Pistols, and Jess Moskaluke.

JOSH ROSS

Josh began singing and playing music at a young age with many musical influences such as Tim McGraw and Steve Earle. After a series of serious football injuries, Josh gave up his football scholarship to pursue his career in music. In a short period of time, Josh has a successful single that reached 37 on the Top Country iTunes charts and has performed for over 4000 people at festivals such as the Magna Hoedown. He is noted for his unique voice and entertaining personality when performing.

WAITING FOR HENRY

Waiting For Henry debutted in 2013 with their album "Ghosts & Compromise." A D.I.Y. project, originally made just to give to friends, the release took off organically at Americana blogs and radio on both sides of the Atlantic. Alternate Root named it a 2013 Top 20 pick and Huffington Post called it "timeless." Their 2016 album "Town Called Patience," produced by R.E.M. guru Mitch Easter, was called a "masterwork" by No Depression and landed in heavy rotation on Sirius/XM's The Loft, where PD Mike Marrone called WFH "one of his new favorite bands." Later this year, the band is returning to the studio to record an E.P. with Replacements' bassist and Bash & Pop frontman, Tommy Stinson. While the band's songwriting and sound it wholly its own, reviews have noted comparisons to R.E.M., Blue Rodeo, Wilco and The Jayhawks (... and no on in the band is complaining!). So if you like your music pretty but gritty... c'mon down!
