GROWN UP AVENGER STUFF

For fans of The Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs, Queens of the Stone Age and The Who.

With the blended sonic storm that only comes with pure blood relation going on and perhaps unique enough to be the only band of it's type, Grown Up Avenger Stuff builds songs that pull on the strings of the heart as much as they make you jump and sweat like a dog on a hot summer southern street - all behind a frontwoman that is in parts demure, poignant, and enraged howling banshee.

Through an approach of uncompromising high energy live shows and unapologetically growing their fanbase the band has been building popularity and ever reaching toward their goal of "saving the world one song at a time."

In love with the road experience of meeting new people and spreading music, the last year has seen Grown Up Avenger Stuff touring the across the country twice, including headlining the Mid Atlantic Music Festival, 9 shows in Austin during SXSW week, recording at Full Sail University, Launch Music Festival (with Foxy Shazam) in Pennsylvania, Celebrate Fairfax (with Live) in Va, and many more dates in support of their critically acclaimed self produced CD release "Sparkleton".

EMILY MAC

Emily Mac's powerful raw voice is like the first few sips of scotch it's a sweet smoky fire. In 2014 Emily received the Factor demo grant for her song "California This Winter" which received airplay on radio across Canada. Born in Toronto and raised on Motown her father would recount stories of sneaking across the river to Detroit listening to legends like Aretha Franklin & Otis Redding. Mesmerized by this music and she spent her childhood singing and dancing along to every note. From Toronto Jazz Festival to Rockwood Music Hall Emily lives to perform. This summer she will be travelling to NYC to begin recording on her debut album.

JIANTS

Jiants is an indie rock trio from Toronto, formed in late 2015 by ex-pro skateboarder Jesse Landen. Landen is joined by Adam Kesek on bass, and Micheal Tillley on drums. Jiants released their first LP in August 2016, with a sound reflective of their shared admiration for the spectre of the 90's. Together they have created an nostalgic feel you'll remember from a time that maybe never was.

L K HAE

L K Hae is a producer, engineer, and songwriter on Library Collaborative Records. After growing up in the rust-belt firehall and house show punk scene, Hae moved to Washington, D.C. in 2007 to get an education where he became a part of the Northern Virginia music scene playing and touring with various bands up and down the East Coast. Hae moved back to his hometown of Sharon, PA to build Plum Sound Studio and tour with his old band, Distractions, and eventually moved to Pittsburgh in 2014 where he met Library Collaborative.
While still able to separate the heavy rock from the more mellow, blues driven L K Hae recordings, there is still a sense of the influence on each record."

CHIP GREENE

"Singing emotionally candid lyrics, in his smokey blues toned voice, Greene has natural flair for music that can’t be taught. Creating a nice niche career for himself, he’s managed to contribute music to MTV, Sprite, and Eddie Bauer projects in addition to many others. He’s also had his work spun on SiriusXM, as well as performed at SXSW, and at various clubs all over the country.
- No Country for New Nashville"

MARLON CHAPLIN

Toronto born musician/songwriter/producer Marlon Chaplin has just released his EP 'Wanderer By Trade', recorded live off the floor with some of Toronto's most adept musicians (members of Zeus, Lemon Bucket Orkestra and the Skydiggers) as contributing members. Marlon formerly shared co-writing duties in pop/rock outfit Broken Bricks, before moving on a solo career as well as joining Freeman Dre & the Kitchen Party and Ada Dahli & the Pallbearers, producing the latter.
