SPELLS OF VERTIGO
Toronto's Spells Of Vertigo was formed in 2014 by songwriter/guitarist/singer Keegan Powell, after previous musical projects broke up & became obsolete. Mixing the history of American and British rock, with elements of lo-fi, proved to be enticing to local audiences and led to the release of the EP “Soaked” . Soon after it's release, radio station 102.1 The Edge embraced the band naming them one of Toronto’s “Next Big Things” in 2015. After a tour of Canada in 2016 and the release of several singles, the band is set to release there anticipated first LP.
FXRRVST
FXRRVST (pronounced ‘forest’) is Matthew Fuentes and Holly Forrest, an Australian/Canadian alternative-indie duo!
HONEY BEARD
Honey Beard is an Irish Canadian Dark Synth Pop outfit from Toronto. The duo have been creating music since 2012 drawing on early influences such as Depeche Mode and The Doors, melding it with modern electronic acts such as MGMT and Jamie XX. The band have built up quite a reputation for their frenetic live performances with edgy songs that tear apart typical pop arrangements while balancing dark synth hooks with bright thumping beats.
HUTTCH
Amongst the blanket-covered walls and strung lights of a basement in Windsor, Ontario, an indie rock power trio known as Huttch was formed in 2014. If their well-crafted guitar riffs and solid rhythm section complete with driving bass lines doesn’t ignite an adrenaline rush, their act also includes acrobatic stunts mid guitar solo. With gear spiffed up in vibrant aztec patterns, and outfits adorned with sea-shell necklaces, the band could easily be mistaken for California strays; softly reminding their audience to relish in life’s simple, audio pleasures.
MOTEL RAPHAEL
Motel Raphael is a new-wave pop band - hustling in Montreal since 2012. Led by Clara Legault, Emily Skahan & Maya Malkin, this 5 piece outfit is working on their 3rd full length studio album, while fans continue to enjoy debut album "Cable TV" and sophomore effort "System".
