From the Promoter

Honey Harper is a new Arbutus Records project by William Fussell of Mood Rings.

Scott Hardware's music pulls at you the way sleep pulls at you, down and inward, toward that dark expansive place—never reached—where things somehow feel more real and more fake, closer and farther away.

Actually it's a hallmark of Hardware's first album, You Think About It Too Much (Daps Records, produced by Marie Dior ), to give binaries the slip, to skirt genres, to be two or more things at once—austere and vulnerable, futuristic and nostalgic, clubby and introverted, self-aware and sincere—until both things become their own, which is Scott Hardware, the project of Toronto-based songwriter Scott Harwood.
