I told them that I needed them to send me a band bio for the website. What they sent me instead was, as far as I could tell, just a description of what they did for the rest of the day. Here it is:

“So, we were working on “Mid 20’s Skateboarder (I Hope I Don’t Get Hurt)”, and we got pretty fuckin’ excited, so we hit The Beer Store and then headed out to the skate park in the Toronto Beaches. It was a nice day, but school was out, so the place was packed with children and we got scared ‘cuz we had a lot of beers with us and we didn’t feel like making fools of ourselves in front of those judgy little bastards. We did what any mature adults would do when faced with such a problem and got real drunk and waited until it was dark out and there was nobody around. Things were going okay at first but then we got ourselves into the pool and Jon went down. Broken arm. We dropped him off at the hospital…he thinks he’ll be able to start working again soon!”

That’s probably the best response I’ll get out of them regarding a bio, and I’m just realizing that maybe this is the best way to describe them. Drunk, impulsive, and desperate to have fun at any cost.
