The Jerry Cans have a reputation for infectious, high-energy performances, creating music inspired by their hometown of Iqaluit, Nunavut, and life in the Canadian Arctic. With a unique mix of traditional Inuit throat singing and folk-rock sung in the Indigenous language of Inuktitut, The Jerry Cans are a distinctly Northern sound.
The group are Canadian Folk Music Award winners and have been nominated for two 2018 JUNO Awards, Breakthrough Group Of The Year and Contemporary Roots Album of The Year.
