After a busy year touring Canada and the U.S., catl. have returned from the road as a slamming rock n’ roll duo. Sarah K. crushing the stand-up drum kit and Jamie Fleming (aka. catl.) rockin’ the old Gretsch archtop. The band is set to release their 4th and most focused LP This Shakin’ House in April 2014.

This couple bring a fury and intensity to their live performances that command the audience to get up off their asses and dance!

2013 saw the band leave Toronto for the Deep South of the United States where the inspiration for their music began. After the success of their tour, they returned to Memphis in November to record at Ardent Studios with Adam Hill (The Raconteurs, Jack White). The whole record was then motored up the I-75 to Detroit where Jim Diamond (The Sonics, The Dirtbombs) mixed it and gave it that unmistakable Ghetto Recorders sound. From infectious dance numbers to lullabies about watching horror movies at a too-tender age, this record has it all!

Long-time friends Pete Ross (The Speaking Tongues) blew harmonica on several of the tracks, and Danny Kroha (The Gories, Demolition Doll Rods) joined them on ‘Waiting List’.

Look for this energetic ‘gruesome twosome’ (Perlich Post) out on the road this year as they make their way around Canada and the United States in support of This Shakin’House!
