"Who is Bernardino Femminielli? According to his Bandcamp bio, the Montreal resident is “is an artist. He works in media including music, performance, poetry and film under the guise of a hyper-sexual, genderless provocateur. His work and character are a synthesis of mysticism, danger and pleasure; a detached crooner deep within a dystopian discotheque.” He was also a live and in-studio member of Dirty Beaches. If you need a little mysticism, danger and pleasure in your life — who doesn’t? — as well as ’80s-ish minimal wave synths, proggy grooves and smoky French cooing, Femminielli may be your genderless provocateur."
