After Funk, the explosive Toronto-based funk, rock & soul quartet, hot-off a month long spring tour in the south east United States will be taking over the Velvet Underground for an epic dance party in celebration of James Brown’s birthday.

The band will be treating their hometown fans to an all original set and a James Brown tribute set featuring a horn section comprised of some of Canada’s best horn players. The show, presented by Make it Funky, NuFunk, will feature an opening set from Love Wagon and DJ sets from Farbsie Funk and Quesquecest.
