JUNO Award-winning Halifax, NS singer-songwriter Matt Mays and his band headlines Massey Hall and performs songs from his latest album Once Upon a Hell of a Time… along with a collection of old favourites, as part of the Live at Massey Hall concert and film series. The night features very special guest and friend of Mays, Kathleen Edwards, who will also perform with her band on the iconic Massey Hall, Allan Slaight Stage.

“Playing Massey hall has been a dream of mine ever since I picked up a guitar as a kid,” says Matt Mays. “It’s the ultimate church of music. It’s a true honour to get to play there and also share the stage with an awesome friend like Kathleen Edwards.”

Kathleen Edwards adds, “I’ve been Matt's fan and friend for many years, so the chance to dust off my guitars and work on songs to be able to join him in Massey Hall feels about as good as anything could. Even quitters quit quitting sometimes.”
