This fundraiser initiated by The Cherry Trees Band supports Water for Life, managed by GAiN (The Global Aid Network). One hundred per cent of the proceeds go directly to this cause.

To drill one well the cost is just $8,500 and that one well supplies 1,000 needy people with fresh water for up to 25 years!

In 2015 The Cherry Trees Band created the Change The World campaign (with the accompanying album of same name) that raised $42,500 and built five wells providing water for more than 5000 Africans.

Their goal this year is considerably higher. The Cherry Trees Band have recorded their sophomore album, Aqua which will be launched at Hugh’s Room Live on Monday, December 3 with the lofty goal of raising $85,000 to supply water to 10,000!!

The group considers this absolutely achievable and we look forward to raising our glasses when they do!
