Astral Projections is a monthly.. out-of-body experience, blending mind-expanding audio/visual delights from local electronic bands and DJs.
This will be the last Astral Projections of 2018. However, the night may resurface again at a later date when the stars align. A huge thank you to everyone who's been involved with this monthly, it's been an honour to have you perform and dance with us!!

Future Primitive is a Toronto based 6 piece band with members from Brazil, Canada, Chile and Venezuela, that blend mambo, cumbia, samba, forro and reggae with contemporary funk, jazz, R&B and soul, while utilizing elements of digital futurism, live performance and sampled based production to create a multi-layered sound that they like to call Tropical Soul.

ICED MISTO
Sandra To, also known as Iced Misto, provide services and events to nurture and grow Toronto's street dance and arts culture.
In the day, Sandra is designing and developing functional, attractive apps. By night, she’s connecting people through music and dance. Sandra enjoys utilizing her wide-range of skill sets to create events and services for other prospective and seasoned dancers; all to nurture Canada's street dance scene.
Since 2008, she worked for dance studios and volunteered at events hungry to learn about street dance from its history, philosophies, style, and techniques. Meanwhile, she was building an understanding what dancers need from a DJ in different kind of event spaces.
As a dancer, she currently focuses on house, waacking and hustle dance styles. As a DJ, she is constantly digging through music, its history, and correlating its connections with street dance. She’s currently part of various collectives that share her philosophy on connection and creating such as Lost is Found, T.O. Hustle Sessions, Brighter Days, and Footprints.

DJ GENERAL ECLECTIC
DJ General Eclectic takes you all over the musical map and beyond the traditional barriers of rhythm, sound and movement. He communicates his love of music on both digital and analogue platforms but is most at home snuggled up closely to a stack of vintage vinyl. Very few can connect the dots like he can, thats why you can find him DJing everything from upscale corporate events to the most obscure of underground jams. Simply put, his knowledge of music and ability to weave different genres together are legendary. Now in his 2nd decade of DJing, DJGE is more in the middle of the music than ever before.

HEMINGWAY
The founder of Astral Projections and co-founder of Cosmic Resonance Records with Chris Evans, James aka Hemingway fuses visuals and sounds to align your astral vibrations in a way akin to meditation in movement. Currently hard at work at on a new album, James will be in a musical hibernation in the winter months and has some exciting events in development for the future.
