From the Promoter
Acote
Blending techno, drone, dub, and bass music, in a live hardware setting, Acote's improvised sets develop a personal bond between the audience and the artist. Released on New Kanada, Mondern Math, Aufect Recordings, Sounds of Sumo, and Meat & Produced, he is in our humble opinion, one of Toronto's untapped talents.
Burglar
feedback loops, neverending reverb, experiments in distortion. gritty drum sounds layered with vocal samples (found sounds, rap acapellas, etc). kinetic yet collapsing -- influenced by techno but taking the format beyond a rigid dance groove.
Kitzl
Kitzl is an experimental electronic indie-pop artist from Guelph. In combining samples she’s collecting from the world around her into short, hooky loops, Kitzl transforms these everyday noises into unearthly soundscapes. There’s a sense of a playful wonder, mixed with a darker, more displeased bitterness. Kitzl’s performance will have you feeling like you’re being serenaded by an intergalactic being on a cosmic adventure.
Warm Bodies (Debut)
Undeniable grooves and sizzling analog heat: Warm Bodies is on a mission to make you move to the purest sonic experience possible with their live hardware act
