Shrinehouse and Dressed In Black
From the Promoter
A late summer night dedicated to anguish in pop music.
We're crying, we're dancing, we're being bad, we're being transported through time with music and performance.
We're tearing the Horseshoe a new asshole and using tears as lube.
Shrinehouse, your favourite Toronto tribute band, will do our usual thing: Paying tribute to our one and true Queen, Amy Winehouse. We present you with her music as we feel she would have liked: raw, soulful, and intense.
Dressed In Black, in their debut performance, bring you a new project paying tribute to some of Amy's queens: The Shangri-Las. They sang about death, loss, and heartache over soaring orchestral arrangements by Phil Spectre. Dressed In Black will feature big vocals, and smashing instrumental accompaniment.
SPECIAL GUESTS TO BE ANNOUNCED SOON.
