The Life Aquatic Tour is a 6-week, 26-city tour across the U.S. and Canada, with Brooklyn’s Kilo Kish in support (she is featured on PRIMA DONNA’s “Loco”), will open February 24th at North Park Observatory in San Diego, and wrap up at the Phoenix Lights Festival in Arizona on April 9th.

On November 27th, Staples debuted the first episode of his new monthly radio show S E A (Section Eight Arthouse) Broadcast System on Beats 1, Apple Music’s global radio station. S E A Broadcast System is a pirate radio-style broadcast full of music and interviews designated to illuminate and distract the mind curated by Vince and Westside Ty the Beeper King. S E A Broadcast System is set to air every third Thursday of the month at 3pm PT/6 pm ET. Watch trailer here!

The Life Aquatic Tour will be Vince’s first full-scale road trip since the massive U.S. and international summer festival run that included show-stopping performances at Coachella, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Outside Lands, Firefly, Primavera Sound Barcelona, Glastonbury, Wireless, and FYF Festival in Los Angeles.

PRIMA DONNA was the long-awaited follow-up to Summertime ’06, one of the most critically acclaimed albums of 2015, which positioned Vince Staples at the forefront of the game. Upon its arrival, the New York Times hailed Summertime ’06 as “exceptional, a modern gangster rap classic full of clear-eyed detail and tart social commentary.” Just a few months later, the Times returned with the ultimate accolade for Summertime ’06, when its closing track “’06” was singled out as one of 25 Songs That Tell Us Where Music Is Going in the Sunday magazine’s historic “one-time spectacular” issue.

As Jace Clayton (aka DJ/ rupture) wrote that Sunday, “Vince Staples … has established himself as a singular new voice in rap, one whose urgency matches his precision. ‘’06’ and ‘Summertime ’06’ refer to the season when Staples turned 13, in Long Beach, Calif. Out of that hardship, Staples emerged as a streetwise Everyman whose lyrics and musical production are uniformly lean and unsentimental.”

Vince Staples has worked with dozens of today’s hottest artists. Most recently; he has been featured on tracks with ScHoolboy Q ("Ride Out"), Flume ("Smoke & Retribution"), GTA (“Little Bit Of This”), and Clams Casino ("All Nite").
