Following up on the success of their 30th Anniversary Tour in 2018, The Posies’ founding members Jon Auer & Ken Stringfellow (former bands REM and Bigstar) embark on a West Coast run of shows as a duo.
Stripped down to two guitars, two voices and the occasional turn at the piano, the pair enjoys presenting their songs in this fashion, as an alternative to the full band assault that their four-piece shows are known for.
Here, the focus is on the band’s brainy and heartfelt compositions and melodies, and their unmatchable penchant for vocal harmony.
