From the Promoter

Imagine Dragons, one of the biggest break-out rock bands of 2012, adds five new shows to their highly anticipated summer tour for a total of 19 dates. They now stop at Bank of America Pavilion in Boston, Massachusetts on July 24th, Nikon at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, New York on July 25th, Woods Amphitheater at Fontanel in Nashville, Tennessee on July 27th, Echo Beach in Toronto, Ontario on July 29th, and Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica in Cleveland, Ohio on July 30th. The summer tour begins on May 7th in Charlotte, North Carolina at the Time Warner Cable Uptown Amphitheatre. Tickets for the newly announced shows go on sale April 5th on LiveNation.com. Tickets for the previously announced shows are available now.

Imagine Dragons also confirm Paper Route, Envy Corps, X Ambassadors, Nico Vega, Moth and the Flame and Terraplane Sun will open in select cities in May and June. Support for the July shows will be announced soon.

The summer tour comes on the heels of their sold out club tour with the band performing in larger theaters and boutique amphitheaters. Imagine Dragons have already sold out the historic Red Rocks Amphitheater in Denver, two nights at the world-famous Palladium in Los Angeles, as well as shows in San Diego, Salt Lake City and Boise.

Imagine Dragons are: Dan Reynolds (vocals), Wayne Sermon (guitar), Ben McKee (bass), and Daniel Platzman (drums). The band is touring in support of Night Visions (KIDinaKORNER/Interscope Records) which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Album chart selling more than 83,000 copies — the best first-week sales for a full-length album by a new rock band since May 2006. Night Visions also climbed to No. 1 on Billboard’s Rock and Alternative Albums chart. The first single “It’s Time” spent 41 weeks on the Modern Rock chart, 44 weeks on the Triple A chart and reached the Top 10 at Top 40 and Hot AC charts, selling more than 2 million copies. Their second single “Radioactive” has sold over 1 million copies and is currently No. 1 on the Modern Rock chart for seven weeks running.
